On my journey and I’m learning that I actually just might be high porosity instead of low porosity lol Girl natural hair is a trip!
What does it mean when the water just sits on your hair? 😩 Some of my hair absorbs water in seconds but the rest doesn’t do anything.

I haven’t used As I Am products in so long but they have so many good products now. I have high porosity hair too but I use the LCO method. You just reminded me that I have to oil my scalp now. 🤦🏾♀️ I’ve been sitting in this durag since wash day. 😂 Thanks for sharing❤️

I used to like you but i feel like you are now a product label , you embody the extreme product junkie. We don’t need all of this to grow our hair.. I feel like you put too much product on your hair just for the sake of introducing new product every time and not because they are actually usefull.
I am a black male and I recently shaved my head bald because my hair did not grow in full in the crown area. I wash my hair every friday with shampoo and conditioner and then apply a leave in condtioner and then small dallops of castor oil to seal it in. For the following days i apply more castor oil (in small amount) to keep my hair moisturized with the leave in conditioner still in until my next wash day which would be friday. so my question is, is this safe for my hair or should i only apply the Leave in and oil once until my next wash to avoid clogging the follicles?
